The
Artist Leadership Network for Women (a.k.a. "ALN") was started
by the artist Betsy Damon in 1984, under the name of "No Limits
for Women in the Arts" - in 2006 the name was changed to our present
one.
From
the beginning ALN has been a network of women artists of all sorts
(including painters, writers, dancers, sculptors, quilters, singers,
installation artists, filmmakers - to name only a few) in groups
of 6 to 12,
meeting regularly
to support and encourage one another to become leaders in their
own lives and communities.
Over
the years literally hundreds of creative women have been helped
by ALN to go for their biggest dreams and their largest visions.
